Do Ethanol Content Sensors a.k.a Flex Fuel Sensors cause a restriction in your fuel line? Yes, they do!
This is only an issue for those running multiple fuel pumps and large volumes of fuel, which these days is more and more common. For this reason, we have developed a Billet Bypass. This essentially replaces 2x Y-Blocks, a bypass hose and a bunch of fittings. It results in a much neater, and cheaper solution, with less points of leakage. It works with the compact Continental Flex sensor, and our own Raceworks ALY-151BK bracket. The part number for the bypass is ALY-052BK. It contains AN-10 ORB ports, and is sized internally to support a flow of fuel greater than a AN-10 PTFE hose. The bypass allows the sensor to be mounted on either the feed or return line, without a reduction in fuel flow.
