Do you know what AN stands for?

AN (Army-Navy) is a set of standards that date back to World War 2, and comes from the US Military. It is not a measurement ⚠️ These standards include Tube O.D, Hose I.D, and thread. AN Fittings use a metal on metal contact in the form of a 37deg flare to form the seal. There is no gasket and it doesn't seal on the thread.
